Tierrasanta East County Surf Program
· What is East County Surf Tierrasanta?
East County Surf Tierrrasanta are teams that are a part of the larger East County Surf Club program but are based in Tierrasanta.
· What separates this program from other club programs?
East County Surf Tierrasanta is led by United States Soccer Federation and European “A” Level coaches who develop the structure and methods of player development through the club’s curriculum. We create the best possible environment for players to develop.
· What fields does East County Surf Tierrasanta use?
Tierrasanta Elementary School, Kumeyaay Elementary School, The Tierrasanta Rec Center, and Canyon Hills High School are used by our teams.
· Where are the games and tournaments played?
Our younger teams primarily play all their league and tournaments in San Diego County. Older teams may travel beyond San Diego for competition.
· What are the costs of this program and what does it include?
East County Surf offers numerous programs with different price points. The entry level programs are under $1000 and include coaching fees, player registration and insurance. No player will be turned away due to financial reasons as the club offers financial assistance to those who qualify.
· What is the player pathway for East County Surf Tierrasanta?
The program at East County Surf Tierrasanta provides the pathway to the Elite 64 National Program with U.S. Youth Soccer progressing to college and professional soccer programs.
· What is Surf Nation?
East County Surf is part of the Surf Nation, a program that offers unmatched professional management and player development in youth soccer. Surf Nation is the #1 Club in the United States for college scholarships sending over 300 players to college a year.
· When are tryouts?
Tryouts for different ages occur at different times in the year. 2018 to 2014 are in December with 2013-2009 in February and the 2008-2005 teams are in April.

RISE IN THE EAST
The time has come to unite the best talent in Tierrasanta on the same field, wearing the same uniform. Register early and come prepared.
In 2022, we expanded our player development pathway by entering our top teams in USYS National League ELITE 64. This is the first time a football club in East County has been granted access to participate in a top level league.
In addition, East County Surf identified and promoted several players to Surf Select National Teams, competing at the highest levels with some of the best academies and clubs in across the U.S and in Europe. This is evidence of what happens when you put the best talent together, East County can compete with anyone, anywhere, anytime.
